Mr. May is a seasoned business executive with extensive sales, management and leadership expertise. By utilizing his sales experience and knowledge of multiple industries, Mr. May enhanced customer value and helped his clients meet their corporate business objectives.  Todd routinely exceeded sales and gross profit goals. Over his career he has generated more than $250M revenue and $35M in gross profit.  Mr. May has 30 years of experience in applying information technology and applications to solve complex business problems.  He has expertise in various industries including banking, state government, retail, consumer package goods and manufacturing.  Mr. May has been employed and held ownership roles at number of firms including Hewlett Packard, Unisys, AdvizeX and Silo Connectors.

In 2015 Mr. May focused his energy on building a pure consulting firm that provides strategic consulting and implements  That company, Silo Connectors is completely focused on enhancing its clients return on investment from the deployment of Salesforce.   As a former Salesforce client, Mr. May knows what is important to Salesforce clients.   This has been incorporated into the Silo Connectors consulting methodology.  In 24 months Mr. May has led Silo Connectors from a startup company to a thriving Salesforce consultancy that has developed creative methods for increasing end user adoption of the platform.

During his 17 year tenure at AdvizeX, Mr. May held various sales, sales management, executive management, and equity ownership roles. Mr. May has a passion for process improvement, and was recognized by AdvizeX’ clients and OEM Partners as one of the most trusted and client focused sales professionals in the industry. Mr. May helped grow revenue from $16M in 1997 to over $250M in 2013.   Known as the “go to guy” at AdvizeX for creative and value oriented solutions for his clients, his colleagues frequently asked for his input on new client initiatives. Prior to AdvizeX, Mr. May joined Hewlett-Packard where he gained system integration experience with complex application software packages such as Oracle and SAP running on Hewlett-Packard enterprise systems. While exceeding sales and customer satisfaction goals, he felt the need to join a more nimble and fast moving organization.   This led to his introduction to AdvizeX in 1997 where he quickly became an owner.

Mr. May gained extensive experience in the banking industry during his tenure with Unisys Corporation. Over a 10 year career, he held various sales and sales specialist roles to gain a complete understanding of bank operations. The specific segments include retail/branch banking, check processing, deposit gathering, ATM networks, and mortgage origination.

Mr. May earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from West Virginia University.

Mark Barrett- Strategic Advisor

Mark Barrett, Silo Connectors

Mr. Barrett is a seasoned “C-level” executive with over 26 years of executive & financial experience. Past accomplishments include acquiring and selling companies, restructuring financial and operational processes, managing key vendor and banking relationships, and establishing strategic direction for various companies. Mr. Barrett has a reputation for “getting things done” and blends strong fiscal management with extensive leadership, operational and industry knowledge.

Mr. Barrett was the Senior Vice President, CFO & COO for AdvizeX Technologies, a leading information technology infrastructure solutions provider. Mark served as the CEO of the company on an interim basis as well. As a 14 veteran, Mr. Barrett was known as a results-oriented executive with expertise in all financial and operational areas of the business. He was responsible for leading the finance, operations, marketing, human resources, information technology and legal functions of the business. Mr. Barrett served as the corporate Secretary, which included preparing for, presenting, and governing multiple Board of Director meetings. Mr. Barrett led the management team through a leveraged buyout in 2005, and lead the due diligence process to sell the company to a strategic buyer in the fall of 2012 for ~ $32M.

Prior to joining AdvizeX, Mr. Barrett served as the Group Controller for Zaring National Corporation, a $1B NASDAQ listed luxury homebuilder based in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his tenure at Zaring, Mr. Barrett was responsible for all financial reporting and accounting aspects of the Company. He was instrumental in designing and implementing an effective turnaround strategy that contributed to the acquisition of Zaring by The Drees Company.

Mr. Barrett began his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers where he advanced over 10 years to a Senior Manager role in the Business Assurance Audit Group. Mr. Barrett gained extensive cross industry experience (including SEC reporting & compliance) in driving both financial and operational improvements for his clients. He was recognized as one of the firm’s top national audit instructors.

Mr. Barrett earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
